I am currently reading a book for a men's study group at my church titled "Wild at Heart" by John Eldridge. I have enjoyed the reading so far and thought I would share some highlights that I have taken from the book:
Key Thought #1: "The world is filled with caricatures of masculinity-posers-but very few real men."
Key Thought #2: "The reason, in part, goes back to Adam's fall-and the way every man since him has also fallen to the temptations of sin."
Key Thought #3: "It's not a sign of weakness that you need God desperately-you were meant to live in a deeply dependent relationship with him.",
Key Thought #4: "Most men sacrifice their dreams because of fear, and they live out a script someone else wrote for them."
